Hello Volunteers! This Saturday is the day we’ve all been working toward, and we couldn’t be more excited to see all of you at the HTX Basket Brigade event. Together, we’ll transform generosity into action and make a real difference in the lives of 450 Houston families. Here’s a quick glimpse of what you can expect for the day.
Morning Kickoff
We’ll start bright and early, gathering as a community to organize the items purchased with financial donations. Everything from pantry staples to holiday treats will be set up and ready for assembly. Expect good vibes, positive energy, and a quick orientation to get everyone up to speed.
Teamwork in Action
Once everything is in place, we’ll dive into basket-building. This is where the magic happens! Volunteers will work together at designated tables to pack the baskets with care and attention to detail. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned participant, your efforts will directly touch the lives of local families.
Packing and Loading
Once the baskets are ready, they’ll be organized and prepared for delivery. Our U-Haul teams will handle transportation logistics to ensure the baskets make it to the families and partner organizations that need them most.
A Heartwarming Wrap-Up
Before we wrap up, we’ll take a moment to reflect on the impact we’ve created together. Group photos, thank-yous, and a final wave of gratitude will cap off what promises to be an uplifting and meaningful day.
